There are four seasons in Nepal and each season offers its own unique attraction
Autumn:
September to November: This season offers excellent weather and great mountain views.
Winter:
December to February: This season is known for occasional snowfall only up to certain heights. Therefore, winter is ideal for trekking to an altitude of 3,200 m.
Spring:
March to May: Various types of wild flowers, especially rhododendrons, make the hillsides, up to 5000 meters, a magical paradise during this season. It is mildly warm in the lower regions. At an altitude of 4000m, you get an excellent view of the mountains where the temperature is moderately warm.
Monsoon
June to August: This season is the mixture of rainy and summer season. The summer season lasts until mid-September and a trip during this time is wet and warm. This time around is a true blessing for an enthusiastic botanist as the higher valleys and meadows blossom into lush flowers and vegetation.
It is advised to bring an insect repellent during the trekking tour in the summer months.Trekking in the rain shadow region behind the high mountains of the Himalayas and a trip to Tibet is a wonderful experience.
