Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,350m)
On arrival, a representative from Amazing Himalaya will receive you at the airport to take you to your hotel. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 02: Kathmandu: Sightseeing and trekking permit Preparation
Today, we tour Durbar Square, Pashupatinath temple, Swayambhunathstupa and Boudhanath stupa which are all in UN World Heritage sites. The Durbar Square sheds light on the life of the royals in ancient times. Pashupatinath temple is one of the most important places of pilgrimage for all Hindus. Swayambhunath is also known as the Monkey Temple, it is on top of a hill, and has historical significance associated with the foundation of Kathmandu valley. Boudhanath Stupa is one of the largest stupas in the world. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 03: Fly to Lukla, trek to Phakding (2,651m)
We will take an early morning flight from Kathmandu to Lukla from where our Everest treks begin. We recommend getting ample of sleep the night before as we will immediately start our walk after landing on a trail descending to Cheplung. From Cheplung village we can see the sacred mountain that has not been climbed yet, Mt. Khumbila. From here, we will again descend to Phakding. Overnight in Trekkers Lodge.
Day 04: Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,438m)
Our trail passes through a pine forest where we continue our trip on the trail that goes north up the Benkar valley. After crossing Dudh Koshi River and passing Chumoa and Monjo villages, we will reach the entrance of the Everest National Park. From here we will cross a suspension bridge, to Jorsale village located alongside the Dudhkoshi and Bhotekoshi rivers. Then we will ascend on a steep trail to reach the iconic Namche Bazaar. Overnight in Namche Bazaar.
Day 05: Acclimatization Day – Namche Bazaar: (3,440m)
Today we tour the iconic Namche Bazaar the most popular town of the Everest region. This town at 3,440 meters has government offices, ATMs, internet cafes, shops, restaurants, and colorful market. We will hike-up to Everest view point to see beautiful panoramic view, including Mountain Everest ,Lothse, Makalu, Amadablam and more . Overnight in Namche Bazaar.
Day 06: Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3,870m)
Today’s trek to Phunki is an easy walk. It’s a gradual ascent of just 400m from Namche Bazaar to Tengboche. In Tengboche, we will see the biggest monastery of the Everest region, which is located within the Sagarmatha National Park. From here we can witness panoramic views of the Himalayas, including Mt. Everest, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Nuptse, and Lhotse We can observe a Buddhist religious ceremony in Tengboche Monastery if we reach there by 3 pm local time. Overnight in Tengboche.
Day 07: Tengboche to Dingboche (4,365 m)
Our trail descends through green forests of rhododendron trees. While trekking we will see a magnificent view of Mt. Everest, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam. We walk downhill to Debuche and cross the Imja River to reach Pangboche. We select the upper Pangboche path with its admirable views of Himalayan view and the Pangboche Monastery. Then we will ascend to Dingboche. Dingboche is known for its beautiful fields of barley, potato, and buckwheat along with grazing animals in the meadows. Overnight in Dingboche
Day 08: Dingboche to Lobuche (4940 m)
Today’s journey is a relatively short journey from Dingboche to Lobuche. We trek across a wide pass which is a big change from the narrow straight trails. We begin to see Mt. Pumori as we continue on our trail and lose the view as we descend along the curves. We cross a stream and ascend to small village Duglha with a huge strand of prayer flags hung across the valley. The trail passes through stony slopes as we ascend Chupki Lhara which is a point that provides magnificent mountain views. On top of the ridge, you will see player flags and Stinson in memory of the lives who lost their lives on Mt. Everest. Overnight stay in Lobuche.
Day 09: Lobuche to Gorakshep (5170 m), visit Everest Base Camp (5364 m)
After ascending and descending through glacier path and meandering on rough terrains, we will finally reach Everest Base Camp. From the base camp, we will witness ice melting through the cliffs and mountains in very peculiar and gorgeous pattern, we will also witness breathtaking rounded ice towers on the upper part of the Khumbu glacier. After soaking in the beauty, we walk back towards Gorakshep where we spend the night. Overnight in Gorakshep.
Day 10: Gorakshep to Kala Patthar (5,545m) to Pheriche (4,288m)
We will wake up early for the walk up to Kala Patthar in the chilly and windy morning before sunrises. We will walk on a fairly steep trail at a comfortable pace. As we climb up the hill, we can see Khumbutse and Changtse mountains. The view from here is outstanding where we see the world’s tallest mountain Everest along with other mighty Himalayan peaks. After resting at Kala Patthar for some time, we will walk back to Gorakshep. The walk will not be as tough as it was to hike up to Kala Pathar. After taking breakfast at Gorakshep, the group will descend to Pheriche. Overnight in Pheriche.
Day 11: Pheriche to Namche Bazaar (3,440m)
Our trails descend through a hillside with rhododendron trees and then, pass through a bridge above the Dudh Koshi River. We descend rapidly through a pine forest where we can easily spot mountains goats, pheasants and other faunas common to the area. We will eventually reach Sansa from where we can see a panoramic view of Thamserku, Nuptse, and Ama Dablam Mountain. From here we will take the trail through jungles to Namche Bazaar. After lots of ascending and descending, we would have descended 600m eventually by the end of the day. Overnight Stay in Namche Bazaar.
Day 12: Namche Bazaar to Lukla (2,860 m ):
We will mostly descend on our way to Lukla, we will take trail filled with suspension bridges, beautiful monasteries, and villages. .Once we reach Lukla, we spend rest of the day resting as today will be our last day on the mountains. Overnight in Lukla.
Day 13: Fly to Kathmandu
We catch an early morning flight to Kathmandu after our long mountain journey. After reaching Kathmandu, you can either rest or explore around for shopping. If you want to explore any other areas of Kathmandu, our guides will be happy to help out with an optional sightseeing tour. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 14: In Kathmandu:
After breakfast, we will go for a half-day sightseeing tour to the most beautiful city in Kathmandu valley called Bhaktapur. Bhaktapur is also listed in UN world heritage site. Here you can see the Durbar Square, the pottery market, the famous peacock window, as well as the five-story Nyatapola: Nepal’s highest pagoda. Drive back to Kathmandu. Rest of the day you have free time for shopping or walk around Thamel. Farewell dinner will be served in the evening to celebrate the successful completion of our journey. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 15: Final departure
Our adventure trip in Nepal ends today. Transfer to the airport for your onward trip.
