Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,350m)
Upon arrival, a representative from Amazing Himalaya will receive you at the airport to take you to your hotel. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 02: In Kathmandu:
Today, we will visit Kathmandu Durbar Square, Pashupatinath temple, Swayambhunathstupa and Bouddhanath Stupa which is all in UN World Heritage sites. Durbar Squares are conglomerate of ancient courtyards, palaces, and temples that gives glimpses of the life of the royals in ancient Nepal. Pashupatinath temple is one of the most important places of pilgrimage for all Hindus. Swayambhunath is also known as the Monkey Temple, it is on top of a hill, and has historical significance associated with the foundation of Kathmandu valley. Boudhanath Stupa is one of the largest stupas in the world. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 03: In Kathmandu:
After breakfast, we will go for the sightseeing tour of the beautiful city in Kathmandu valley called Bhaktapur. Bhaktapur is also listed in UN world heritage site. Here you can see the Durbar Square, the pottery market, the famous peacock window, as well as the five-storey Nyatapola: Nepal’s highest pagoda. Afternoon the tour proceeds to Patan is also listed in UN world heritage site. It is one of the oldest Buddhist cities in the world, is home to ancient temples and palaces. Patan is also known as Lalitpur, which means beautiful city in an ancient local language. Here you can see the Durbar Square, the Golden temple, Mahabouddha Temlee, also known as Thousand Buddha Temple, as well as the another five-storey Kumbheshwor Temple: Nepal’s second highest pagoda. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 04: Kathmandu-Pokhara:
After breakfast drive through an impressive mountain landscape, through the peaceful villages, to Pokhara 200 km. The city is located directly on Lake Fewa and you have a wonderful close view of the mountain panorama of Annapurna- massif. From here, numerous hiking trails begin in the Annapurna region. Overnight in Pokhara
Day 05: In Pokhara:
After breakfast, one-hour boating on Fewa Lake and 45-minute hike to Peace pagoda temple and enjoy the serene view Annapurna Himalaya range from the top. Again45 minutes walk down to Pokhara and visit, International Mountain Museum, Devi’s Falls etc. Overnight in Pokhara.
Day 06: Pokhara – Chitwan:
After breakfast we drive to Chitwan National park for 5 hours, transfer to the Jungle Lodge in Chitwan. After lunch, Jungle safari activities will start, followed by overnight in Chitwan.
Day 07: In Chitwan:
This will be a full day jungle activity that includes Elephant back safari, Elephant bathing, Elephant birding centre visit, cannoning trip, jungle walk, village tour, culture programs and bird watching, followed by an overnight in Chitwan.
Day 08: Return to Kathmandu:
After breakfast drives back through again an impressive mountain landscape & drive along Trisuli River to Kathmandu. After 6-7 hours of a drive, we will finally reach Kathmandu. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 09: Final Departure: Transfer to the airport and flight back home.
