Annapurna circuit Trek 21 Days

After a beautiful countryside drive (5 hours) we arrive at Besishar, the starting point of this famous Round Annapurna Trek. The route goes through subtropical bamboo forests and rice terraces and different villages such as Manang, Barag and Chame. Then we will be crossing the highest point of this trek Thorong- La (5416m) and descend to Muktinath,a place of pilgrimage for Hindus.From our highest point Thorong-La we can have a Panoramic view of several seven and eight thousand meter peaks. And this route proceeds through the deepest gorge of the world through the Kaligandaki River Valley.We come a cross Ghorepani and Punhill. The trek ends after reaching Nayapul and a short drive to Pokhara.

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu

Welcome by Amazing Himalaya representative at the Airport and transfer to hotel in Kathmandu. After rest, we start by briefing about the trip. Overnight  in Kathmandu.

Day 2: Sightseeing and preparation for trekking permit

Amazing Himalaya organizes a Full day city tour in and around Kathmandu Valley that includes visiting the monuments, temples, and monasteries such as Kathmandu Durbar Square, Pashupatinath Temple, Swaymbhunath and Boudhanath Stupa .It also includes leisure time for rest and preparation for the trip to Annapurna Circuit. An evening briefing will be provided in  hotel. Overnight   in Kathmandu.

Day 3: Drive to Bhulbhule/Khudi

The day begins with 5-6 hrs drive from Kathmandu to Bhulbhule via Besisahar along the Prithvi highway. We divert off the highway at the bustling town of Dumre as a detour and continue for another one and a half hour to Besisahar. After lunch, we complete a short drive to Bhulbhule (846 meters) in Marysandi Valley. Overnight in Trekkers lodge.

Day 4: Trek from Bhulbhule to Shange (1136m)

Trekking to Shange begins after breakfast. It is a leisurely walk of about 5-6 hrs. During this trek, you will climb up to Bahundanda, a picturesque village at the top of a formidable ridge. Then down, across terraces, and over small streams, before convening at the majestic Marsyangdi river which goes upstream for several kilometers. Overnight in Trekkers lodge

Day 5: Trek from Shange to Tal (1710m)

A magnificent stroll with eye-satisfying changes in view and a scope of slopes start on day 5. From Tal, we head over the stream and climb steeply to the edge top which is of decent stature. At that point, we will cross another suspension bridge before we proceed towards tight and excellent valley celebrated for its dynamite after-rain waterfalls. Just before camp at Tal, at the principal town in Manang, we encounter a short uphill climb to enter a wide, flat valley with a long and amazing waterfall to the right. Overnight in  Trekkers lodge

Day 6: Trek from Tal to Bagarchhap (2160m)

Exploring through a wide and flat valley, the trail at that point rises through a stone stairway up-to 1860m after which another stairway rises. The journey proceeds with uphill and downhill to Dharapani at 1890m. We then come across stone entrance called Chorten, a typical Tibetan influenced villages from here northwards. We then visit the Bagarchhap at 2160m with its flat-roofed stone houses of local Tibetans architecture. Overnight  in Trekkers lodge.

Day 7: Trek from Bagarchhap to Chame (2630m)

The trail here takes us through a rough and rocky ascent to Tyanja at 2360m that proceeds through forests, following a river, to Kopar at 2590m. As we arrived the Chame, the central town of the Manang region, we are pleased by the fine views of Annapurna and other hot springs nearby the town. Overnight in Trekkers lodge

Day 8: Trek from Chame to Pisang (3300m)

The day begins with a trek deep into the backwoods in a steep and narrow valley, crossing a river on a long bridge at 2910m. We then cross another bridge at 3040m, from where the view of soaring Paungdadanda faces finally begins to appear. From that point, the trail moves up to Pisang, which expands between of 3200m and 3300m. Overnight in Trekkers lodge

Day 9: Trek from Pisang to Manang (3500m)

Today’s trekking starts from part of Pisang towards drier Manang. Drier Manang does not receive any monsoon rain because the Annapurna range blocks the clouds hence there is not much vegetation or agriculture. Therefore on our way to Manang, we will see a lot of villages, where we will encounter semi-nomadic lifestyle with families earning their livelihood through poultry farming and trading. Day 10: Acclimatization at Manang

We will spend today acclimatizing in Manang. We will spend an entire day strolling around whilst witnessing the magnificent views of the villages and/or going to the famous ice-lake nearby. This will give us a good practice for altitude adaptation. Overnight in Trekkers lodge

Day 11: Trek from Manang to Ledar (4250m)

Today we will ascend 700 meters leaving Manang towards Ledar. As we ascend we will see nature unfolding and witness vegetation getting less dense with the increasing altitude. The trail passes through Marsyangdi Valley to Tenkito Jarsang Khola Valley, and finally, we will reach Ledar at 4250m. Overnight in  Trekkers lodge

Day 12: Trek to High camp (4600m) from Ledar.

This trail prompts descends up to the river and we start to ascend up to Phedi at  4420m. On High camp on the elevation of 4600m, we might discover few recently based guesthouses, the place we will be staying overnight. Overnight in Trekkers lodge

Day 13: Trek from  High Camp to Muktinath (3710m)

Today we begin our journey early in the morning from High Camp “foot of the hill” to the 5416m Thorong La pass. We then make the climb through the trail that is regularly used and easy to follow. After about four hours climb up to the pass marked by the Chortens and prayer flags, you reach the top where you are rewarded by the magnificent view from the top. Overnight in Trekkers lodge

Day 14: Trek from Muktinath to Tukuche (2600m)

Tukuche is a mini yet historical settlement of about 100 houses of Thakali people. It has two monasteries and one apple brandy factory where we can visit to see how apple brandy is produced. Overnight in  Trekkers lodge.

Day 15: Trek from Tukuche to Ghasa (2100m)

From Tukuche, the trek today begins with the downward walk along the Kali Gandaki river beach which turns into a motorable road. Overnight in Trekkers lodge.

Day 16: Trek from Ghasa to Tatopani (1200m)

From Ghasa, today’s trek begins with a downward walk along the Kali Gandaki River. If you are tired, you can take transportation on a self-payment basis to Tatopani. Overnight in Trekkers lodge.

Day 17: Trek from Tatopani to Ghorepani (2850)

Today we will take up on the daunting task of trekking up to the steepest trekking trail via Shikha and Chitre. On our way, we will come across different local ethnic groups who have been living on these steep slopes for generations. Overnight in Trekkers lodge.

Day 18: Explore Poonhill and Trek to Tikhedunga (1495m)

Today we will wake up early to walk up to Poonhill (3210m) to witness the beautiful early morning sunrise out of Mt. Dhaulagiri, Annapurna range, and Manaslu Mountain. After enjoying the sunrise, we will get back to the lodge for breakfast. After breakfast, we continue our 4-5 hours trek to Tikhedunga. Overnight in Trekkers lodge.

Day 19: Trek from Tikhedunga to Nayapul and Drive to Pokhara

We start this trek in the morning after breakfast in Tikhedunga toward Nayapul for about 4 hours with lunch on the way. Then you will be taken to Pokhara in a private vehicle where you will be accommodated. Overnight in Pokhara.

Day 20: Drive back to Kathmandu from Pokhara

After breakfast, your trip starts with a drive back from Pokhara to Kathmandu by private coach for about 6 hours. Overnight in  Kathmandu .

Day 21: Final Departure

We will drop you to the airport to bid you nice farewell.
