Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,350m)
Upon arrival, a representative from Amazing Himalaya will receive you at the airport to take you to your hotel. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 02: Kathmandu: Sightseeing and trekking permit Preparation
Today, we will visit Kathmandu Durbar Square, Pashupatinath temple, Swayambhunathstupa and Boudhanath stupa which are all in UN World Heritage sites. The Durbar Square sheds light on the life of the royals in ancient times. Pashupatinath temple is one of the most important places of pilgrimage for all Hindus. Swayambhunath is also known as the Monkey Temple, it is on top of a hill, and has historical significance associated with the foundation of Kathmandu valley. Boudhanath Stupa is one of the largest stupas in the world. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 03: Kathmandu to Pokhara
After breakfast, we will drive through an impressive mountain landscape, past peaceful villages, to Pokhara (200 km). The city is located directly on Fewa Lake and we have a wonderful view of the immediate and close up mountain panorama of the Annapurna massif. From here, numerous hiking trails begin to the Annapurna area. Overnight in Pokhara.
Day 04: Pokhara to Nayapul (1000m) to Ghandruk (1980m)
After breakfast, we will drive about an hour from Pokhara to Nayapul. Here is the starting point for our trekking. Through Birethanti we will hike along Modi Khola and reach Syauli Bazar. After lunch in Syaule Bazar, we will make steep ascend to Ghandruk through granite stairs on the hill. Ghandruk accommodates the largest Gurung village, which has its unique architecture and sense of community; most of the men from Gurung village are either retired British army or are still serving in the British army in Gorkha regiment. Day 05: Ghandruk – Chomorung 2170m.
We will wake up early in the morning to witness the beautiful sunrise over Annapurna Massif then get breakfast. After breakfast, we will hike 5-6 hrs to Chomorung, we will witness the mountain approaching closer as we ascend. Overnight in Trekkers Lodge.
Day 06: Chomorung – Doban 2505m.
Today the tour goes steeply downhill until we cross the Chomrong Khola (1,900m), then the trail goes steeply up to Dovan. But we will always have a nice view of Modi Khola Valley once we cross Ghandung. Overnight in Trekkers Lodge.
Day 07: Doban – Machhapuchre base camp3700m.
We will take trail alongside the river on a stony path from where we can view Himalchuli and Machhapuchare all along. We will eventually reach Machhapuchare base camp. From here we can see a magnificent view of the steep wall of Machhapuchare, and Annapurna Massif. Overnight in Trekkers Lodge.
Day 08: Macchapuchre- Annapurna (4130m)
We will wake up early for the walk up to Annapurna Base Camp in the chilly and windy morning before sunrises. We will walk on a fairly steep trail at a comfortable pace. As we climb up the hill, we can see Nilgiri, Mardi Himal, and finally Annapurna up-close. We will take our time capitulating the serene beauty of Annapurna at the base camp and finally make our way back to Machapuchre Basecamp. Overnight in Trekkers Lodge.
Day 09: Descending back from Machhapuchre
Today we will descend back from our final destination to the top, i.e., Annapurna and Machhapuchre. Eventually making a stop at Himalaya Hotel at 2920m. Overnight in Trekkers Lodge.
Day 10: Himalaya Hotel – Jhinu Dada 1780m.
Today we will hike through jungle over Doban and Bamboo Lodge down to Chomorung Khola and eventually up to Chomorung. From Chomorung the trail goes steeply down to Jhinu Dada. Overnight in Trekkers Lodge.
Day 11: Jhinu Dada – Landruk 1680m.
We will enjoy the natural hot water spring in the morning. After splendid time in the spring, we will get ready to descend down to the valley right in between Modi Khola and Kyamuna Khola. Once we cross Modi Khola, the path goes easier up and then we get into Naya Pul (New Bridge.) We will reach Landruk after an hour hike from NayaPul. Overnight inTrekkers Lodge.
Day 12: Landruk – Dhampus – Pokhara.
After breakfast, the trail goes steeply up to the Deurali Pass-through Tolkha and jungles. Then easier descend downhill through Potana and Dhampus villages to Phedi. Here our car is waiting for us to drive us to Pokhara for ½ an hour drive. Overnight in Pokhara.
Day 13: Return to Kathmandu.
On the way back, we will drive along Trisuli River. After 6-7 hours of a drive, we will finally reach Kathmandu. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 14: A day in Kathmandu
After breakfast, we will go for a half-day sightseeing tour to the most beautiful city in Kathmandu valley called Bhaktapur. Bhaktapur is also listed in UN world heritage site. Here you can see the Durbar Square, the pottery market, the famous peacock window, as well as the five-story Nyatapola: Nepal’s highest pagoda. Drive back to Kathmandu. Rest of the day you have free time for shopping or walk around Thamel. Farewell dinner will be served in the evening to celebrate the successful completion of our journey. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 15: Final Departure
Our adventure trip in Nepal ends today. Transfer to the airport for your onward trip.
